Mary Nethery

Mary Nethery is a 7th generation Texan with a life-long passion focused on design, communications, historic architecture, and fine garden design.
Her affinity for the land of South and Central Texas surely is in her DNA: she comes from generations of Texas ranchers reaching back to their arrival in1833 to work various Spanish Land Grants.
Mary studied Art and Art History at Baylor University, and in Vienna, Austria; as well as Garden Design in the UK. Private tours of UK gardens have refined a love of landscape architecture.
Mary is an avid preservationist and is restoring an 1887 Caliche Block Victorian Cottage, in the King William Historic District, as well as editing the San Antonio House Registry on which the house is listed.
